About the Director (written by a player's parent)

Heather Lamb is a volleyball coach with much love and enthusiasm for the sport. Her years of playing, coaching and running a club are just a few of the qualities she brings forth as Club Director of Altamont Volleyball Club. Just as importantly, she loves working with the players and helping each and every one of them develop their skills on the court. She always stresses the importance of working hard as a team. As a trainer, Heather teaches every player how to improve their form, technique and strategies, thus improving their game. It doesn’t take Heather long to learn the various personalities and pull out the strengths and strengthen the weaknesses of the players. This willingness to develop a report with the girls results in higher self-esteem and self-confidence. As a Coach, she has a way of commanding respect at all times, but still manages to keep a sense of humor which defuses the intense moments and stress that can be felt playing or watching volleyball. Heather is always organized, trustworthy and responsible with the players’ family time, finances, emotions, virtues and commitment. She will always be straight forward, honest and most important, human.
